Today’s pick is a one-shot people were going MAD for when it was announced on the ELFC forums several weeks ago. Neon Green Slushie from the FAR range by Element e-liquids.
It comes from a range that seems to be Element’s stab at “Funkiness”, from it’s Street Art Graffiti label design to it’s mix of slushies and zingy fruity flavours ( Strawberry Cupcake seems to be an odd member in the FAR family though I must say )
So just why was Neon Green Slushie so desired by the ELFC community? Let’s find out…

The last good slushie liquid I had was way back when I was reviewing the Punk Juice range. It was Rotten (no, it was very good. It’s just called “Rotten”. It’s a Punk Thang…); zingy, refreshing and very… green.
So this FAR version has some stiff competition.
It’s been steeping for around a week, so it should be about where it should be. To be honest it’s not really changed since mixing, maybe except for the lime that’s calmed down a fair degree.
The use of the word Neon Green in the title is fairly apt; the Lime “Pops” with every toke. It’s a very bright and rounded citrus, but isn’t as mouth-puckeringly sour as I thought it would be.
There are a few other bits and bobs lurking behind this singular flavour, things that in themselves are almost imperceptible, but I reckon are there to give the mix a deeper and more rounded vape. For example I feel there is some kind of very sparingly used caramel. I know, odd considering this is a slushie. Also some sort of mouthfeel component ( mallow I’m guessing )
This is then finished-off with a moderate level of cooling. Not an icy blast (thankfully) just a cooling chill.
As a sub-ohm vape, Neon Lime Slush is what it is – clean, refreshing, zesty with a nice bit of mouthfeel and body to back it up.
Interestingly, mixed with Nic Salts at 20mg and vaped through an MTL device, Neon Green Slushie tastes almost like Key Lime Pie without the pastry. This is what confirmed my thinking there is definitely some marshmallow in there and likely some caramel too.
