Now then! I’ve had six of the liquids from Aerovape steeping now for a week, and thought I’d put together a “One Week Steep” preview. Plus I couldn’t wait to give them a whirl! ( well I did have little drip of each on day 1 for the sake of the review!)

Looking at doing a final review in a weeks time as I imagine they should all be fully rounded out and good to go by then.

So, I’ll keep this brief as this is only a preview, and an insight into the excercise of steeping e-liquid flavours.

STEEPING METHOD

  • Bottles are squeezed several times with lid off.
  • Lid Back on
  • Bottles placed into an ultrasonic cleaner, no water bath, to vibrate for 2 x 15mins with a 3 min automated break in between.
  • Bottles returned to my sock drawer until next day
  • Repeat.

TORRONE PARFAIT

Day 1 – AROMA : Soft sweetened lemon. FLAVOUR : Soft sweetened lemon

Day 7 – AROMA : Lemon and nougat. FLAVOUR : Rounded lemon, nougat and almond

STEEP COMPLETE? Probably yes, but will continue anyway to see what occurs. It’s already a fave of mine!

LEMON BISCUIT

DAY 1 – AROMA : Soft sweetened lemon. FLAVOUR : Soft sweetened lemon

DAY 7 – AROMA : Biscuit with some soft lemon : FLAVOUR : Rounded lemon with shortcake biscuit

STEEP COMPLETE? Nearly there, but feel theshortcake biscuit flavour needs to develop more to match the stronger aroma.

SWEETIE PIE

DAY 1 – AROMA : Soft apple, very soft pie crust : FLAVOUR : Soft apple

DAY 7 – AROMA : Soft apple, pie crust : FLAVOUR : Soft stewed apple, mild pie crust, very mild vanilla custard

STEEP COMPLETE? Don’t think so. Based on similar juices I’ve had, this has to develop the pie, custard and vanilla elements. This will probably go the two week period.

CREME BRULEE

DAY 1 – AROMA : Sweet. FLAVOUR : Quite sweet with very mild creamy custard

DAY 7 AROMA : Sweet custard. FLAVOUR : Sweet mild creamy custard

STEEP COMPLETE? Nah, not by a long way. Feel this is gonna be the longest to steep. The sweet sugariness is still very apparent, and I feel this has to mellow down and allow the other flavours to mature. Could be 2-3 weeks for this!

COFFEE HAZELNUT CAKE

DAY 1 – AROMA : Coffee, soft cake. FLAVOUR : Coffee and very mild nuttiness

DAY 7 – AROMA : Coffee, nuttiness, cake. FLAVOUR : Dark coffee with nuttiness and a soft bakery/cake tone.

STEEP COMPLETE? Probably, but will leave it longer to see if the cake aspect opens up, and overall tone blends further.

BLUE MOUNTAIN

DAY 1 – AROMA : Soft blueberry. FLAVOUR : Very mild, creamy blueberry

DAY 7 – AROMA : Coconut, blueberry. Flavour : Creamy coconut with soft blueberry and almond

STEEP COMPLETE? Hope not! This one has come on leaps and bounds over a week. The pallette of flavours has unfolded fantastically. It is arguably good to go now, but I want to wait a week to see if it gets more complex!

So there we are. I am really happy with how these are developing. So happy that when Daniel dropped the HAPPY HOURS offer on us at POTV the other day ( nice one! ) I grabbed the 2 for 1 Torrone Parfait 30ml with less than a minute to go before it finished! I’ll do a full review on each flavour next week.

My Marquis setup for this. 26awg 4mm dia coils coming in at 0.7 ohms. Big coils, chunky wick, big flava!

  1. thanks for your review fella i too have a couple of bottles of the lemon biscuit and am steeping mine.. ones had three warm baths and a lot of shaking and been left with lid of in a dark cool place…ive found the sharp edge has been taken off it and its now a smoother vape on 0.5 coils on a dripper….the other one has been left to step naturely with a few good shakes throughout the day..i havnt tried that one yet and will leave for about a week until i do…it will be interesting to read your update too….being 70vg 30 pg it doesnt half make my coils pop even at 35 watts on sigelei 100 plus..but thats where ive found the most flavourable for myself…i too bought this on a bogof deal promo from a thread on the planet of the vapes..happy vaping fella….good flavour and worth the money….

    1. And thanks for your comments! I too found the lemon biscuit a more rounded vape after a week. I do warm water bathe some liquids but generally just wait a little longer using the natural time-aged method. But water baths do often speed things up!

Have found them to be a little crackly sometimes on the coils but not to the point of spitting. The liquid is just nice and fluid enough to go through the Kanger Subtank Mini RBA as well so for me its a good overall PG/VG composition

The BOGOF deal is superb. And as for the price/quality I honestly do believe there isn’t anything can touch their juices.

      Cheers for the feedback! Peegore
